Anyone else waiting for the Pretoria deeds office to stop getting Covid cases?

We lodged on the 6th.... now we wait for them to clean.

So an agent the owner organised came by to "evaluate" the property. They were not even here 5 minutes. Didn't open cupboard, didn't check anything, no nothing. Took some photos, peeked out the back door. In the car again and left.

How do you evaluate a property if you know literally nothing about it?

 Useless.
Just want to get the property on Prop24 first, it's all they care about.

We confirm that we received our proceed to lodge from the bank and await on you for simultaneous lodgement.

Means we getting closer I guess?

I got a cryptic SMS this past weekend which sounds like good news:

Code:
NMBM - Linking of pre-paid meter request lodged on account 60xxxx06, reference no 20xxxx94

I'll be surprised if this house is transferred before the year is done.

Received a surprise email today.

New property was transferred sometime early June.
I was going to go and open the municipality account in Sept.

Today CoJ emailed me the invoice for July-Aug.
Account has already been open.

Well done CoJ!!!!

Got a note from our solicitor today, everything at the house is built and signed off and ready, and accordingly, given 10 working days notice as per contract, completion will happen on 2nd September. I've asked if that can be brought ahead to 31 May as our current lease ends then... Else we will have to find a hotel room for two days
