Office 365 Activations Issue

Hi

I recently changed a client from Office 2013 pro plus to Office 365 and ran into an activation issue. Whenever Office apps are opened they request Office 2013 Pro Plus to be activated. When you check activation/about screen it indicates Office 2013 requires activation. Under more info it however shows Office 365 is activated.

How can I remove Office 2013 popup? The clients runs alot of 3rd party software so n fresh Windows/Office Install is not an option right now.

Howdy

You will need to uninstall the Pro Plus, log in to the Office 365 website (with the correct user) and install Office from there.
No other way, I'm sorry to say.

Yeah I don't recall a upgrade from the local installs to office 365
