It's definitely not going to be a cake walk. WP will bring it, and the Lions inexperience might count against them. All I know is, it's going to be an epic battle.

Lions need to do basic better and not throw away the ball. Lions by 15:whistle:
 
I don’t know about Saturday, all the Province players has been playing a bit under their potential. What hurts them the most is their tackling, the inability to complete a tackle. The kicking is ridiculous. Kolbe isn’t making his meters into the opposition territory. Senatla, love the man, isn’t even playing on his sevens level. De Jongh is de Jongh. Nizaam Carr showing his lack to wear the Green and Gold. Jano Vermaak being underutilised. We don’t have our locks, but we do have a big 5, or rather a big 3. The rest is okay. As I had said many times during this Currie Cup, should WP be capable to tackle the Lions on the day we will win the game no matter where we play.

As much as I want WP to win I have a liking to the Lions and Pumas so I'll rather keep my mouth shut on the prediction.

Next year the Kings play Super Rugby. Greener pastures have arrived at their doorstep.
 
This final reminds me of the final wp played in Durban where a young and inexperienced team beat the Sharks at Kings Park. I think something similar can happen today, providing wp play the same they did on that day.

I will say it again, pressure is surely on the lions, as they playing at home and clearly the better cohesion team. Playing a running game can either work on the day or let wp thrive on the loose play, with our speedsters having a field day in the highveld. I do think that the team taking their chances on the day will win the game. I also think percentage rugby plays a role in a final too.

M head says lions, but I have this sneaky feeling province will take it by 5-8 points. There is absolutely no pressure on them as nobody expect them to win. Happy that they made it to the final considering their bad CC campaign this year.

For the neutral this will be a humdinger. May the best team win on the day.
