Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

On the flip side, if the Lions manage to beat the Brumbies with a bonus-point they can go top of the conference. :D

Tbh, a Lions win will be a huge favor to the Bulls and Stormers.

I think the Lions can maybe edge the win. Man, do I hope that the Sharks and Cheetahs will survive their games... We play Rebels at Newlands next week, which will put us back into position, and I doubt the Rebels can make their magic work against the Stormers.

Then they played 13 games as opposed to the Stormers and Bulls at 12.

Yes, the last bye for the Lions is the last round robin stage. So in effect the Lions only got 1 rest week the whole comp.

But the rule is for team equalled on points the team with the more wins go top, the Lions will have 8 wins if the beat the Brumbies and the Bulls are now on 7 after today's loss against the Blues.

Bulls really stabbed themselves stukkend by not taking this game. It was a must-win for their hopes in the tournament. South African sides this season are being made to look rather ordinary. Pity.

I foresee another weekend of upsets  first the Bulls and now the Rebels are looking to cough it up.

Too early to call the Rebels game, remember they were ahead by 1 last week against the Blues after about 52min and then ran away with it in the end.

Its dangerous for the Rebels and Debreczeni gives a penalty away. It was a professional fouls as he killed the ball with a hand in the ruck. He receives a yellow card.

Rebels player gets a yellow card... leads to try scored by the Reds and that is two nil down in my picks. Eish!

32 - 17 with 25 minutes to go.
