Ah well.

Despite the "reffing", the game had some nice moments.

Time to stir the Durban Curry simmering on the stove. There are some nice things from Debbin. ;)

Will take it off just before the Lions game.
 
What the heck is wrong with the Sharks? Feels like I can predict a loss for their remaining matches. Sucks!

Nah, his knee was over the touch line but hadn't grounded yet. It was clearly still in the air, especially when you saw the frame just after that.

Also, how was it when the ref made a bad call for the 'tahs (the kick straight out of the 22) suddenly the TMO steps in? What a farce!

I've seen them do that many times. Ref asks him to quickly check whether it was carried back or not. Was the right call, anyway.

Why can't they do it for a crap forward pass call then? Plus he didn't ask the TMO, the TMO stepped in for him.

I agree, they should. Same as with the maul where Hoiles disconnected and reattached, should have been Sharks penalty there. TMO can see that easily.

No, he didn't arrive in time for the tackle, he basically just fell over Sithole without doing much to him. At normal speed it looked like he came in and shoulder checked him, but when they showed it in slow motion you could see he basically just goes over him without much contact. Watch the replay again.

The commentators (who also lambasted the ref throughout the game) said the same thing.
 
If the Lions win this, I'm going to buy a Lion's jersey. Go Lions!
