Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

Saders is back, they will now win all their last games with bonus points. Carter took the Canes pressure extremely well and Nadolo is a monster runner. I honour the Canes, also one too many 'lethal' injuries for them today.

I very highly doubt it. They had a dismal S15 this year. No way they can salvage it now.

Get away with it? They were both banned and their appeals dismissed...

yeah, they got away with it in the game and the opposing team suffered because of it ..... same as today, wrongly pinged for a legit tackle and team down to 14.

Maybe no, but they have their strategy back in place. Carter was also very technical today and his defensive (turned aggressive) kicking won them the game in the crucial moments. They didn't play with a full team, the yellow card was doubtful, and I'm sure they can churn out bonus points. The Crusaders never stops playing rugby, and their average log position year by year proves this point, good management. What games do they have left, Blues, Force?

Problem is they need the teams above them to lose, rather than just them needing to win.

Just to come back to the Saders game.

Only caught glimpses of the game between work, but McCaw has really been a no-show this year. Every time I looked up he seemed to fall of tackles or get run over by Savea.

I might be completely wrong though. Maybe it was just coincidence that I saw him missing a tackle every time.

That is a situation beyond their own control, they can still play class rugby to win. You don't need to win a tournament to go ‘home’ the winner, always give your best and that is what I'm speaking off.

That did happen once or twice, but he was very good in the rough stuff. Got bumped off in a tackle once and came straight back, caught the guy and ripped the ball free.
