The fact that the Lions didn't play any significant warm up games clearly counting against them.

What they did tonight was always going to work against university teams. But never against any professional outfit.

And once again the Lions let South Africa down. They are a team with a lot of heart but very little intelligence. Poor decision making all round and no protection of the ball. It is often said but I will say it again: You need to earn the right to go wide.

The Lions flyhalves were the worst of the lot. Boshoff needs to gain confidence. He looked so scared right from the beginning of the game. Jantjies has too much confidence. More than what his abilities allow for.

The Lions will win games. Probably against South African teams since they don't have the intelligence to win against New Zealand and Australia.

Decision making was really illogical. In a tight match take the 3 points when it's on offer. The tries will come later. Eish!

So what's Gary Gold done for the Sharks scrum so far? Sweet Fck all judging by that last scrum. Terribly over rated coach if you ask me....

This Sharks team is lookig like a middle of the log team at best. I think I will save my cap rather than sit through the rest of this performance
