Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

I am in 100% agreement with the others, irresponsible behaviour is completely unacceptable. I’m sure the WPRU and proud WP supporters are embarrassed by the childish support that the high calibre team is being represented by. Respect your opposition at all times.

Hardly surprised the Newlands crowd is the worst in the country going by some of the Stormers fans in this thread.

Stormers deserved the game. Sharks played kark. Pathetic really. Anyway, it's all been said before.

Stormers vs Chiefs next week!! That's going to be HUGE!!

This game got me excited for a number of reasons...

Vincent Koch - a tight head with some promise, good defensively, great in the tight loose and it appears can scrum quite well too!!

Eben - great to see the big guy back. Just a kid but learning and maturing and crucial as an enforcer.

Schalk - his experience would be very welcome in a World Cup year

Kolisi - looks sharp., looked hungry

Damian and Juan - solid centre pairing, totally outplayed and dominated FS and JP, defensively solid tonight.

Kolbe - for mallett to get so animated in the post match analysis says a lot of the potential of this little pocket rocket.

Sharks had a good first half but critical errors in the 2nd cost them big. Set pieces a disaster, particularly scrum. Great to see Willem back, great to see a lean FS back in the mix, great to see Kanko back. They just need to find some rhythm and they'll be competitive. 50 minutes of Matt Stevens and we all have more of a appreciation for Jannie!

And then Lions v Crusaders. It's going to be ugly I'm afraid.

Jaaaaaaa, maybe not hey?! Saders off to a slow start, Lions played all the rugby in their first couple of rounds and lost. Today they defended like Trojans and stole a win. That's gotta be good for their confidence. Doubt they'll win but if they can pick a point or 2? Job done?

Edit: also consider the teams they've lost to are showing good early form.

We'll said Mr Sandman

Weekend's predictions...

Hurricanes
Rebels
Crusaders (sorry Lions fans :( )
Waratahs
Brumbies
Stormers
Sharks

From the current score it looks like the Blues got their mojo back...

The Blues has a similar syndrome as the Bulls, they can play 60 minutes then everything goes wrong. They need to win the game in 60 minutes... Where the Bulls are tired, the Blues are dirty.
