If anyone has ever thrown a tennis ball while running at a perpendicular angle you know that the projectile follows a hyperbolic trajectory.
Which is the principle used for adjudicating forward passes. Unfortunately most refs and commentators don't understand this mathematical (actually physics) principal one bit.
This pass was not straight. It was skew from the start. It's got ****all to do with your "fingers (sic)" pointing in whatever direction (according to the idiot commentators).

Perhaps. Just annoyed right now. Not even a Sharks or a Bulls supporter, but I was hoping to sit on a Saturday afternoon and watch some good rugby between two teams who make up a large portion of our national side. So much off the ball nonsense (how Victor was pinged for that blatant off the ball tug on Bismarck I'll never know).
Doesn't help either that we have a ref making his S15 debut...
