Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

Was it though?

The scoreboard reflects a hiding but in reality was it? I thought the Stormers looked fantastic on attack but today their defense was poor. The Highlanders defensively were massive for most of the game and tackled the guts out of the Stormers! Defense was the difference on the day. An intercept try and an unlucky bounce of the ball, on more than one occasion, and the Landers were in under the posts!

Stormers set pieces continue to impress! Siya continues to impress and the commentators kept singing the praises of Schalk, Siya and Kolbe so the Stormers might not be winning on the field but they admired for their players and the way they currently playing the game.

I thought Koch and Steven were good again today! They the form props right now and if we were picking a Bok team tomorrow surely they would be in the starting XV?

Really enjoying the Stormers this season.

Next week at the Canes and then at the champs (Tahs), then the Force which is steadily building up with their returned players. Pending on these outcomes is how we will go up against the Bulls back at Newlands.

I was specifically referring to the try they conceded at that point and where defence was non-existent.

Not the overall game.

They played like Cape Town weather. 4 seasons in one day.

My bad. Yeah, a few very soft tries!

It's a bitch of an itinerary!

One would expect a win against the Force and one would be satisfied with a few bonus points from the Canes/Tahs fixtures.

There really are no soft touches in this competition.

I find it a bit disappointing that you wouldn't support the South African team against NZ opposition!

If it's not Bokke, it's fair game to support anyone against your rivals ....... almost everyone does it in this very thread so to pipe up now, ye ;)

I don't agree with that yellow.

Yes it was slightly high because the guy dipped. But he did try to wrap his arms and it was just a clash of heads that caused the injury.

It's taken Gold only a couple of months to turn this Sharks champion side into a bunch of fumbling idiots.

Jan Serfontein and Arno Botha both late withdrawals from tonight's Bulls game.

Massive blow for them.

Sharks are playing kark. And might regret not having Lambie and Reinach even on the bench.

Pat Lambie, Marcell Coetzee and Cobus Reinach, all of whom went on to play starring roles in the narrow win over the Chiefs at the weekend, will sit out in line with (although belatedly) the national body’s request to rest Springboks in this World Cup year.

forced into playing poephols like Cooper and Hoffman .....
