i bought direct from leaf in fourways. they had plenty stock ... in black.
 
Donut update for Magic

Anybody know anything official about this, also can one flash the phone with an official Donut release from Google
 
Yeah, any news on a Donut update. I've emailed Leaf for details, but they're pretty hush on the matter, (as in no reply received yet).
 
no idea.... but my hero is the best darn phone ive ever owned.... done the x1 and iphone 3g too..
 
any news on the update from HTC to put sense on Magic?
 
Ja i have the Hero with sense.... awesome, and gave the Magic to my GF, and she is so envious of mine..... so cant wait
 
the taiwanes HTC site has a official RUU build for the magic, so expect very soon, we hope..

Did you manage to get the onscreen keyboard working? I've got the same problem.
 
It seems that HTC international which supplies our phones is skipping the 1.6 update to go straight to 2.0. This is for the Hero. I am not sure about the Magic.

yeah ive heard that same :) awesome news. saw it on htc twitter feed.
which means we get google navigation standard
 
Does anyone have a list of locally developed Android apps ? Off the top of my head I can think of News24, TheGrid ?
Just curious to find out what the local market is like in terms of apps ?

Ok I have managed to get an original copy of the SPL and radio now I just need a copy of the unmodified MTN Android 1.5 rom.

Will pay for bandwidth or shipping ....
