Soooooo many reports of Black Ops being 99% MW2 with new maps and weps ...... no innovation at all.

Different game modes, currency, so you do not just "get" your guns and upgrades. more customizing of your player.

It is a online FPS, but it is not MW2. Because it has no IWnet or Alter and of course it is new

i was really stoked for this game to come out, when i play mw2 my kd is normally around 17/4 27/9... the problem with this is if other people have fast internet, as you have a confrontation you think youre shooting the enemy but you stuter lag and youre dead, ive only two k and over 30 deaths, as much as im not a big fan of MOH its back to that for me, where you at least stand a chance, back to normal life what a song and dance for this game lol

Nice little diarrhea colored shooter we got here. The lag issue here seems to be squarely the product of Mweb's peer embargo, meaning, Pietie who is at X-isp (SAIX) connects to your server to play some kall of dooty! However, pietie is routed via god knows WHERE because of mwebs little lockdown policy. This causes EXTREME latency on Pietie's network causing him to scream, SCREAM, obscenities at you and your family due to you haxing, it also creates unease and jetfuel-burning rage within YOU because each time Pietie's little asian avatar comes close to your okie, the netcode tries to set up a live ping pong match between you and Micheal Jackson's ghost who lives in Alaska via 284859 hops.

I am not sure how Mweb is going to handle this, but if the CEO HIMSELF is involved, im guessing blocking all non-mweb ISPs, that would be a brilliant move and create some serias dosh.

Completed the first mission, lag like a biatch!!!! Machine gun is more like "dut - dut - dut - dut" instead of "drrrrrr" you get the picture

Dude, a lot of ISPs have entered a free peering agreement with MWeb. I'm pretty sure any IS based ISP will connect fine. I don't have Black Ops but I checked using other games and my FNB account and I get 30 - 50 ping to Mweb's gamezone servers. If I use Telkom I get 500, but that's why I have other accounts with other ISPs.

I got a copy from a friend, just to see if my pc runs it.
I also get those heavy frame drops in SP. Especially at the start of the game. Lets hope Activition launch a patch with some fixes and maybe another setting to tweak Graphics a little more than just the Texture detail.

Yes, I know I have a crappy pc, but I can run MW2 in Full Graphics and 1080*1920 res in Multiplayer.

Makes me wonder if I should buy the game or not....

They didnt do this so we can all get better pricing. it was done to secure more customers/greed!

The game is a lot of fun. I am just getting performance issues but that should get sorted out with the next patch.

I didn't play a single game last night after all the issues I experienced. At first the continues steam crash while updating the game, then when It finally installed, I Launch the multi-player the game gets stuck on "fetching stats". I dont have any stats!!!! I finally resolved this after a while. I finally jump into a game and my ping keeps jumping from 70-999 within the first few seconds. My FPS drops to 20fps and it lags horrible rendering the game unplayable for myself. I tried with both my Mweb and Axxess account and its the same issue. Eventually I just got rather frustrated and didn't bother trying anymore and just went to cry myself to sleep.
