I also had that system has changed window popup, it happened after i had changed things on the config, if it has a default/reset function try it.
 
Ja but in all fairness who ever really used 64bit WinXP??
Just my 2c, why install a 64bit os & then run a 32bit game? No use installing all your games & they sit in the progam files x86 folder?
Makes no sense to me, but like I said just my 2c
 
Like the other dude said, xp is gay. ;) Mine is also stuck at 60fps, vsync. No, if loading xp fixed the other problem, then I will miss my ssd. :D
 
I'm still getting the "Server disconnected - Steam connect failed" error after a few seconds of gameplay on any server I join. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it??
 
Hey Blizzard!

Who is your ISP? Try play on a SAIX ISP and see what happens. I have the same problems with MWEB and axxess. Last night I tried on my Web Africa account and had no such problem at all. It's not a fix! But it might bring us closer to the problem.

allo allo - my ISP is MWweb, but surely it should be better with them, considering they're hosting the servers.

I have an uncapped, shaped 384 account btw.

Did you get the same error?
 
I know the theory it should be better, and it is with latency, but I'm having the same issue as you exactly. That's why I ran the test the other night. Web Africa was flawless in connection but had a baaad ping because of the peering issue. Mweb and axxess connections are atrocious but when you finally get in, the ping is good. Im on the 4meg uncapped.

I also found when I was trying to update my iPad software on my Mac, I couldn't get the download to complete on mweb, kept getting server disconnect and other errors. When I switched over to my axes account, it worked fine. The download completed first time. Something is up with mweb / IS. Pm me and I'll give you my log on details for my Web Africa account and you can try it out for yourself, if you like.
 
We were playing yesterday, OIC and gun game. but ja, soar loosers doesn't make it fun as they leave after every game and then you have to wait again for new players. :(
 
Anyone noticed the music in the background on the map with the earth mover, sounds like something from Portal :D
 
Dunno bout you guys, But I'm just not having as much fun as I did with MW2 :( ... Since SoS went poof into thin air, I do not enjoy the game, or maybe MW2 just had a better "community" feel about it... whats your thoughts?
 
Very easy to TK in this game ( hardcore modes ) , half the time the tags don't appear and you got to judge by clothing, some stages easy some not.

tnx Kyubi .. will seriously consider it ... alltho you sPa boys are all pretty damn good!

Also I cant talk much now and I cant' play play for long periods of time (stupid cancer - stuffing up my damn game play!), maybe thats a big part of why I'm not enjoying it! EISH radiation sux balls!

I agree 100%. Had a friend over this weekend and it was fun again, but other than that, I just join any server and play. I do say Hi to the guys I know, but there is no "team play" anymore.

I do enjoy BO (when it works), but it feels more arcade like gaming to me. MW2 just had a different/better feeling to the game than BO.
Personal choice of course, but there is almost no players in MW2 these days..... So BO it is:p
