I felt the same way last year year when Barca played United. Man United parked the bus over both legs. Only having one shot on target. Pathetic.

Was funny when Fergie came out half time and said, we gonna run at Barca now and attack. All they did was defend defend defend.

At least you understand it now.
 
I think my opinion on this topic is covered well enough throughout the forum - you do what you have to to win. Nuff Sed. If parking the bus on occasion is what you need - then so be it. The simple fact of the matter is that Chelsea should have scored despite the bus looming in the foreground. We have only ourselves to blame and no one else - the championship winning teams make their own luck...

How was the Boswinga ''test''? How did he perform at left back?

Who was playing at Right Back against West Ham? Who do you think will be Chelsea's defence tomorrow?
 
Luis Boa Morte. He actually played quite well all things considered - I actually think he will be better because he might not go uofield so much and that is the reason we have been caught out so many times. I reckon he will do a fair job - not the best obviously, but decent enough to maybe quite down Messi for a bit.

Who is missing for you guys, as I read somewherez that he has been playing at right back...
 
Nobody is missing. We will name our strongest team.

Abidal and Puyol returned from injury 2 weeks ago.
 
Oh... someone wrote (here?) that Puyol has been playing at right back and Dani Alves in midfield for a couple of games. Was wondering, is all...
 
Dany Alves never ever played in midfield.

Puyol played at left back to cover for Abidal. He played there twice when Abidal was injured.

If ever a game was won on pure luck - this was it! I shudder to think what would have happened if the pitch had actually been dry! Two whiskeys to calm down - that was nerve-wrecking!
 
Good game, and for a change, great link up between Drogs and Anelka, seems the answer to that puzzle is to have Drogs out on the right and Anelka down the middle, they link up far better.

Still some defensive issues, but let's have Barca's scalp then we can boogie!

looks like Drogba's take down could have been a penalty... but not as much contact...

Malouda foul was on the line now I know in squash on the line means out so doesn't that mean it was within the box?

will comment when I watched the whole match but looking at the stat 1 shot on goal... united may not have to fear barca ;)
