I see people are still hung up on the beating Barca gave United in the final.

Nah it's ok. We won it the year before. besides we all know Barca were lucky to be in the final, what with the terrible referee.
 
Its the way Barca won it - that makes it so unique :D

United won on penalties - Barca played United off the park.

If i recall, one of the commentators quotes that evening.

''United should have brought their own ball, because Barcelona just wont let them play with theirs.'' :D :D :D :D

To be honest - I like that Deco played. He showed very intermittent signs of his genius. Hopefully he will step up and show us more...
 
He is there, and so is Ballack.

I think their fitness sucked under Scolari, hence their level of performance.

The whole squad was lethargic under Phil, when Guus arrived, training at Cobham was stepped up big time, similar to under Jose. He believed in a super fit squad, and I think Carlo is similar.

Having 29% possession at the Bridge, doesnt deserve a win. Playing ANTI FOOTBALL - camping 10 players in the box doesnt deserve a win.

Chelsea wasnt good enough to win - get over it.

Now now Genius, no need to get offensive. And everyone knows the 99 final was one of the best. 1-0 down at the 90th minute and we score 2 goals in stoppage time.
