There is no such thing as a local Nexus 7 model. Google does not sell them here, all will be imported...
That, and the LTE version becomes available.
you can buy nexus devices from esquire as well as the old 7 from incredible/hifi etc

Got mine yesterday. Quite cool, but some Apps (BBC News, BD App) don't work properly, mainly because of poor programming, ie they only check for specific versions of Android.
It is on First Tech Office site Nexus Asus 2b R4 595.00 (incl VAT R564.30)

Decided on this as I have a MiFi device already and the $100 premium is quite steep

Does anyone know where I can get a decent deal for the 2012 Nexus 7? Preferably Wifi only.
It doens't need to be the new one, as the previous spec fits my needs pefectly.
