So couldn't stand it anymore....flashed 4.4 on my N7. Seems much more refined.
I see news doing the rounds that Google was waiting for the new build to be released before they stared sending OTA updates. So long story short, old build ended with O and new ends with S. Apparently the S build is already seeding...
New build was to correct bugs btw...
I received the S build OTA last night (original N7, wifi), after having sideloaded the O. For your interest, the S update installed fine with TWRP installed, no manual intervention required. But I'm currently in Florida, and it will no doubt take a few days to get to non-US locations.
I actually downloaded the S builds for the N4 and N7. If I understand correctly, I should be able to flash them without wiping seeing that the bootloader is unlocked.
You leave your modem on with all that lightning around?Received the OTA for S build this evening. In JHB.

Completed before the storm.
But my modem was affected by the lightning.![]()
3G!!!
Luckily I have a Afrihost MiFI with 5gb. So can use that until I get a replacement.
Sucks Donkey balls though.

Which ISP? Afrihost?
ISP has nothing to do with OTA selection when it comes to Stock Android. This is not the USA.

Ah, yes, of course. I haven't received the OTA update yet (just checked now). Guess it will come through in the next few days. From that link, it seems it is worth checking manually every so often?
