Gridhost - My account is suspended even after making payment and getting confirmation from your billing department that the payment has been processed and services restored. Your phone just rings and reply's to tickets is extremely slow. I have also sent you a pm

Update: After my last post and telephone calls, I have finally received my money...
 
Bit peeved as well.

Webafrica use to automatically debit my cc. Wake up one morning to see that if I do not make payment, my account will be suspended.

Logged in to the control panel. Made a mass payment with the details saved on the system...

How do I revert it to automatic payment?

Auto cc payments should go off as per normal if the debit method is set to it on the profile. The account I was able to find looks OK to me. Can you PM your customer details just to make sure I am looking at the correct one? Also I don't see any notifications about the suspension. How was this communicated?

Why is Gridhost's support so poor, I was a Serv customer, who offered great support, they sold to Web Africa, who had Ok support, but Gridhost never respond to emails, tickets get closed without answers, my email server occasionally just stops working and no help in sight?

I also think of leaving Gridhost. Thay took over my stuff from another company, my package changed and is more expensive and the service is up to *****. I will be moving in the next week or so.

We have a few sites with Gridhost and we've just registered a new domain, hosting + SSL (I wish I had found this thread before I did)

The new domain, hosting and SSL was paid for immediately via credit card and I received the ftp info, domain confirmation mails etc etc.. The domain is working. It took a day or two for someone to contact me about installing the SSL cert. After I replied with all the info, I heard nothing. I eventually had to call Gridhost and they said the SSL status was marked as FRAUD. Now I'm not sure how they got that or what that even means - The guy on the phone last night couldn't answer either (we have another site with SSL and it's working perfectly) My account is also paid up.

I logged in to my account this morning and the original (PAID) invoice for the new domain is gone and now I have an OUTSTANDING OVERDUE INVOICE for the new domain. I downloaded their 30 day statement and my payment is reflecting but so is the new invoice??

This is totally unacceptable. We have been with Gridhost for years. The support has never been great, but this is bad. I have sent Gridhost a PM and expect this to be sorted out before the end of today.
 
Hi everyone, just an update

I received no response from my PM to Gridhost sent this morning. I received no reply to my ticket(s), I received no reply from the guy I spoke to last night re the FRAUD status on our new SSL.

I called support this afternoon, took a while to get through to accounts.. eventually got through and the guy I spoke to said everything was ok, he saw the duplicate invoice and said he would remove it.. and I made sure to ask him if everything was sorted, he said ja.

Logged in this evening, the 'mysterious' unpaid invoice was still there (what did the accounts guy do??? LOL)

I called support and the wonderful lady I spoke to sorted the issue out straight away.

Our SSL status on the new domain has also been changed from FRAUD to PENDING :) #SSLTAKESWEEKS

I will keep you all updated.
 
Good morning TheForacle. Responded to your PM confirming that the SSL and dedicated IP address has been installed. Just waiting on your response regarding anything else that needs to be attended to.

I have a ticket that I replied to but it shows "Awaiting your reply". So I replied to it again and it still says that. I also received an email that the ticket is going to get closed if I don't reply.

An affiliate withdrawal request is also not showing as a support ticket as with other hosts.

To make it worse, I run Hosting Web and I've gotten numerous messages from people who wish to move away from Gridhost. Ranging from billing problems to support tickets not being answered and so forth.

We are aware of that ticket status problem and have escalated this to the devs who will be working on it as soon as they can.
