I have also just installed SetCPU. Has anyone had much success with this application?

im not yet rooted but im going to do it soon and then i'l try setcpu
are you using a2sd+ ? how much internal memory u have free?i keep runnning out.im at 15mbs now
 
I am using LeeDroid 2.2 on my Desire. I have a2sd+ and at the moment - internal memory is..78.mb space left. I have loads of apps and games installed on the device - never any space issues.

I have also told SetCPU to drop the CPu to 348mhz when screen is off. There is no need to run at 1ghz while screen is off, lol.

I am thinking I will see a big improvement - but we will have to wait and see, I guess.

What size SD card do you have installed on the phone?

is 1ghz the default cpu speed even when the screen is off? im sure u will c some improvement
ive got a 8gb sd card but i want to get a 16gb...wat size do you have?
i have about 25+ apps installed.including flash and copilot and stuff which takes up alot of space
i also want to put leedroids rom:)
 
Move copilot to the SD to save space!

Only have the 4gb card - no need for bigger at the moment.

Yes, 1Ghz is even when screen is off! - crazy I know lol.

Leedroids rom is awesome - ZERO problems!
 
copilot is already moved to sd using that adb method
oh okay then mayb i'l try the rooting with my 8gb sdcard
which version of leedroids rom are you usuing? 2.2f?
 
One before 2.2f - I forget what it was - he updates it so oftend I gave up on updating as I keep loosing settings. phone is almost perfect for me now. Just wished the espresso mod worded on this new rom of his..

thats just a theme?
 
It also changes the bar at the bottom of the screen to a nicer one and a few other things.

Hasn't worked since 2.2 Leedroid afaik :(
 
Last time I tried it - phone froze on boot up. The only part I don't like of the theme is that battery icon. There is a better one - but I forget on how to install it.

Update:

Updated the theme - all working - except internet and Members Market..

Sigh..

how are u backing up all ur apps and data?
when u flash a new rom does ur sd card get formated?
 
guys someone has jus gotten the camera on the desire hd rom to work on our desire classic:) cant wait to see the rom
