What was the problem... Was it the h_boot thing

Yep, but it's apparently not directly related to hboot. Although having a phone with 1.57 means there's a fair chance no other method will work for you. I wasn't keen on spending the money, believe me, but I tried every conceivable combination of ROM and kernel to no avail.

So who did you pay?

Becareful: Dont download Mikes HD Lollipop rom. At first its great, then you hear the annoying buzz and beep reminder after every 30 seconds for whatsapp and phone calls, even on silent. I sent him a message but he never replied. Eventually installed Viper Kit Kat rom. There is apparently no way to control the Heads up notifications.

I think HD revolution is the best htc sense based ROM... Super fast, stable... I'm just waiting for sense toolbox to work with Art before I upgrade.. I'm currently on lollipop GPE

I did the same as you. Sunshine was my only option.

I haven't had any notification/sound problems on version 90, but he has released 90.1 with some fixes so maybe that would have sorted your problems.

Hey all,

Recently got the HTC one m8, like a week ago.

I didn't really notice, until now that there's light bleed at the top of the screen looking up at an angle.
Very disappointing as my m7 mini doesn't have any of it.
I know it's normal for some phones to have it to a certain extent, but from HTC is quite disappointing.

It's a contract upgrade, now i'm not quite sure if I should take it back or not.

Honestly, i would have waited for the M9 which will be released in June or July. Rumor has it that it is packing a punch!

I thought of that too, but with new phones come new issues. Then I would likely have to wait 3 more months.
6 months is too much :erm:

Nonetheless the M8 is rated as top 5 phones of 2014. All manufacturers have issues...send it back to them. My M7 went in to repairs after 20 months. I now have a temp s4 which i hate. Plastic and terrible software. I cant wait to have my boy back.
