Official HTC One thread

Then definitely go buy a temp phone in the classifieds ;). Something different to what you're used to May be nice too :)

Orange have a Mini 2 (in grey) for R4655. That should make me happy. Am really considering buying that. They also have the One S which I had and loved. R2085, Pretty cheap. I dont want to move away from HTC. Used my wifes S4 but still an HTC fan.

The mini 2 sounds nice :). Maybe also look at the Desires we don't get here

Started using it yet? What do you think? About to install it now. Can't wait! (Vodacom)

Confirmed it doesn't wipe data... Installed and working. Looks nice, I'm used to the UI from CM12 on the S3 but it's my sisters phone so no idea about performance improvements

It looks nice, very smooth (even the animations) so far. First full day, so will see how performance and battery life is during the day. Will have to play around with the new notifications on the lock screen a bit more.

M7 upgrade to Android 5.0

Anyone in Durban on MTN received the Lollipop update yet for the M7?

I've got an HTC One m7 and i've noticed that in bad light I all the pictures have a pink tint. My phone was taken on contract from vodacom. Any idea whether vodacom will sort the issue out as from what I understand it is a known manufacturer fault

It's a known issue; it was discussed in this thread not too far back. Speak directly to HTC's local support agents, Regenersis. If it's still under warranty they'll probably swap it for a new unit like they did mine.
