MTN and Cellc hate us, they dont care about the HTC community!!!

been due for upgrade since Jan held out for this , but mtn really taking their time

+1 I'm not really a big fan of Vodacom contracts...doesn't offer much. I'm trying to patiently wait for MTN and Cell C... then at least there will be some sort of competition going.

Looks like quite a few of us are waiting for MTN and they are just not coming to the party, next stop
is telkom mobile which i have been using for work and to my surprise is giving me much better support
than MTN by far!

Well i went to most SP

Only Vodacom is offering(but we all know that)

MTN and 8ta had a good point"This phone was announce for some time now and Vodacom is already stocking it,so it's not likely we will be offering it cause we usually offer it the same time the rest of the SP do"

Cell C never got back to me.. Autopage can givie it to me for R389 on Cell C..BUT quit a lot of people complain about their service ect..

So Vodacom will be keeping this price high as long as they want to.. :/

This is exceptionally disappointing ... looks like this is my last few months with MTN Then, will rather
save and buy the phone and move SP.

For the price I just may be tempted but damn Autopage those guys are the worst

I responded to your exact post in another thread:

I don't see how that is a good point. That is ****ing stupid if it's true. They either assume none of their customers want the phone or are willing to let their customers move to competitors.

Have they released anything official regarding the phone or are you making assumptions?

Even when Voda had the [-]iPhone[/-] S4 first MTN still offered it eventually.

ordered from megacell express R8499 (never heard of them before). paid on Friday night. a guy phoned me on Saturday morning saying that they had received my eft but didn't know what it was for. I said it was for the HTC one. he replied with "which one?". Had a bit of a nervous chuckle and proceeded to explain. He confirmed that they will have stock and ship on Wednesday 22nd :) will update on arrival!

I am a little worried. Just phoned again and stock is now only arriving on Friday. I'm sure there is recourse through the banks to get by moolah back if the deal goes south.
 
Imagine a world where FNB offers the HTC One for R300 pm
Imagine the hours of fun you'd have on your device your paying as little as R300 pm
Imagine how happy your wife would be cause your not paying R400+ pm and saving
Imagine how happy FNB would be for getting another lot of people banking with them

Now that's a world i'd live in
 
I'm not sure I'd rule them out. The guy put a wink smiley in his reply so perhaps they are looking into it but just not allowed to say at this point

there must be a better way to get this Phone , Vodacom has a list of people waiting , with no stock
Havnt tried the Autopage okes yet just cause I really don't like them
