Looks very promising, seems the only gripe they have is with the camera in good lighting scenarios.
Gonna be a tough choice between this and the S4 imo.
Back when we reviewed the HTC One, we were quite pleased with the low-light performance of the camera. However, the daylight performance wasn't quite as good, thanks to the excessive noise in the images.
The issue, of course, was not with the hardware but with the software on the phone. Thankfully, HTC has chosen to fix it in the latest software update, as was discovered by the folks over at HardwareZone.com
looks like HTC have come to the party in resolving one of the very few gripes on this phone. The normal-light photo quality
Maybe it's just me, but the quality of the photos still doesn't look spectacular?
But other tech sites have also not bought this ultra/mega/super pixel camera lens, so the jury is still out.
just remember that these are cropped photos. ie. digital zoom.
for everyday shooting they quality is going to be just fine, and quite frankly I welcome the reduced size in file. 12MP on a smartphone is ridiculous and only fills up my memory quicker. Not to mention it fills up the memory with photos that dont take enough in ie. focal length
Hey, it's 2013 now....we have 32GB/64GB SD cards and tons more storage!
I hear what you're saying, but I do fancy my S2's 8MP pics, it looks gorgeous and even better on a full HD display.
I actually prefer the higher megapixels.
The phone has not launched yet?! People need time to see it. Here are some pics from the media launch last night.
bleh, we will most likely get in late may, early june realistically, I'm sick of htc, lg, Sony, Motorola just giving the market to samsung on a silver plate.
They all became complacent and stopped listening to their customers.
Now they're paying the price.
How is a manufacturing delay from their supplier make them complacent?

except for when WE getting it...HTC One scores "several hundred thousand" preorders in the US
