That's true....my custom Rom is just like sense....but I can do extra mods that are built in it,like wake the phone up using volume butoons and make things transparent and loads more other. Stuff.

I did this a few weeks back - do it. You wont be sorry. Better battery life and much faster for me.

Are we ever going to get an OTA update? Ffs HTC. I don't root so not an option.

It's not HTC you should be upset with. They rolled the OTA update out, it's up to your service provider to push it to you.

Yeah so either manual update by flashing the 4.3 image or install custom rom / GPE.
You'll need a micro sim for the HTC One, I don't recall what size the S3 uses, but pretty sure it is also micro. You should be fine.

Yeah, it's micro. Thought I heard the iphone 5 had a newer micro sim and wondered if that generation of phones S4, HTC One etc. were in the same boat.

Has anyone else had the "HTC one not charging" ? Thought it was just mine misbehaving but it seems to be more widespread. Seriously pi$$ed off, can't use my phone it has gone loopy...

what do you mean not charging? i had a problem where it charges for 5mins then stops,charges stops,this goes on for hours and hours till it's charged.. found out it was the charger that was screwing around .. So MTN will be seeing me next week ,cause my camera has the purple photos effect
and charger being faulty ..
If you would like to quickly switch between tasks without double tapping the home button check out Loopr. Easy way to switch between apps and its free. Unfortunately you can't kill apps with Loopr.

My HTC ONE fell from my brother's couch and the screen broke.
Can anyone one advise where I can get it repaired?
My big problem is that I completely forgot to add it to my insurance and now have to fix it for a little as possible.

i want to return my HTC one for warranty assessment,charger doesnt work,power button flush as hell,camera is purple when taking photos ,but i dont want to go through MTN and wait 2 weeks,someone here said they sent it direct to the importers in SA and got it back withing a week?
