I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these. Had the Samsung S3 then moved to iphone (puke) then HTC, won't go back to Samsung again!! I was waiting for the S5 or Note 4 but I am sold on the HTC one, just sooo much more classier and Samsung is way too common now

I got the OTA dude, came thro last night
sigh ... i been checking but nothing my side ... will have to check again tonight!
OK,how do I know if my phone can get the update....I think I did reinstall the stock recovery....is there a way to confirm this?

I dont know how to check, but this is the method I followed to get GPE 4.4 on my HTC One.

Some notes :
I used Pre Rooted 4.4 RUU Zip from the link below.

Model ID : modelid: PN0710000
CID : cidnum: GOOGL001
If your bootloader is locked you need to do this :
Fastboot oem lock
Then put in ruu mode
Fastboot oem rebootRUU
And then flash the firmware
Fastboot flash zip <RUU downloaded from XDA link>
With the above I got GPE 4.4 and OTA worked for me.

You probably need to use a rom. Try Android revolution HD. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023
Just flash the rom with twrp
Thanks,but is there no way of getting back pure sense,with OTA updates anymore?
I had the same fear of losing interest in GPE. I'm glad I just went up to 4.3 Sense 5.5. Waiting for HTC to release the 4.4 update with Sense in about a month.
I got the update from Android Police's website and flashed it manually. Was pretty easy
Do you currently have the GPE or Sense version?
I had gpe but I just did a manual install using twerp ,now I'm on 4.4 sense.
I used the Rom that Rashlin posted

You can go back to stock there are guides for that. But you will be on 4.3 not 4.4

Avaish1, what's your feedback regarding Android Revolution HD? I'm planning on rooting and flashing the same ROM.

I used it for a while and had no issues. Battery life was good too. But I soon changed to GPE because I wanted stock Google experience.
