Poor bowling cost them the game. Too much lenght bowling on a field where you shouldnt...they learnt nothing from NZ bowling

Agreed fully. Only the bitter will choose to label that as a choke rather than appreciate what an effort that was from NZ.

Can't blame the rain. You can blame some atrocious fielding though, and some terrible bowling upfront and at the death based on some very poor strategy decisions.

2 runouts and a simple catch, both gone a-begging because of poor fielding. The pressure got to the players in the field today - I can think of no other possible reason for such a poor fielding performance.

Abbott's exclusion was another puzzling decision, as was our decision to persist with short balls to McCullum upfront.

Poor strategies and fielding cost us our spot in the World Cup.

Well done New Zealand though. Thoroughly deserved.
