Given NZ needed only 12 more to win before the innings break, this was more an afternoon T20 game than a night game.

All true, so effectively no day/night game has been won by the team batting second.

In my mind that's a crock of **** as it then simply boils down to winning the toss on the day

Anyone got any ideas how to render the toss less significant in terms of deciding the contest? A team's chances of winning shouldn't go up or down depending on how a coin falls on the ground.

Smith will bat at 5 so please how can you include him in both 4 and 5. Need to pick one for your analysis. If as suggested clarke bats at 4 then SA is ahead in that area as clarke has no form.

Who cares where they bat, the reality is that the current Proteas (current form) is way sub par compared to other 'favourite' teams.

ohh....and Clarke wont play without 'form'...he has already had a few trial matches
