Correct. This is already the most successful World Cup campaign in SA history.
 
I just hope they keep with this exact team. I feel for Vern, but not sure if we should change a winning team with high spirit.

Barring injuries I would expect this to be the starting XI for the semis/final.

NZ is a different animal. They been the form team so far but I still reckon they've peaked too soon. Boult and Southee are unplayable with the new ball. It's really a question of which batsman can deal with them best, would enable their team to prevail. Amla will have to be at his very best, QDK must just try and survive the opening 10 overs.

I can't see WI causing an upset. I just can't. I can see them losing like SL lost today.
 
Umpiring was very good today gents yes? Maybe the only exception was the marginal front foot no ball for Amla's wicket?

The Amla no-ball was a wrong decision imo. And quite obvious. As a on field call it is acceptable (that the ump missed it) but if you are going to review for no-balls on every wicket as a standard, then surely on tv review you have to call then according to the rules. There has to be some part of the foot behind the line, which there obviously wasn't. Had we not chased such a low score there would have been quite an uproar. Jad the decision been no-ball I think no one would have questioned it.

I agree, i rarely even read this thread anymore. Its descended into absolute garbage.
 
Yup. Pretty much hate this and other cricket threads these days. Try to only post when we play these days...
 
Only way to save this thread is to ignore everyone who engages with ZCF...and ZCF of course. Any conversation with himnonly goes one way...down the toilet.

I've had him on ignore for a couple weeks. Problem is the other people who keep quoting and engaging with his garbage. Only solution is to add them to the ignore list also.

It's exactly this. Ignore doesn't quite equate to a proper ignore because you still have to scroll through all the trash...
