Official Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Thread

It was not a bad half but things fell apart spectacularly in the second half, I think the 3 goals are the only shots on target for Ahly.

The only half decent Chiefs players were Katsande and Frosler, other than that, all below average.

Coke Alexander, good signings

Alexander is passed his prime and will be more of a squad rotation option and a mentor to younger players. I don't think he played at all last season.

Dolly and Nabulo Ngcobo are definitely good signings who could be hits.

I think he will be the main man with Katsande seemingly on his way. I don't believe in the notion that players over 30 are old and should be regarded as past their prime, a player should be judged on form and nothing else.

Chiefs style is to have a hard man in the middle, Njabulo Blom is definitely not that player so I think Alexander's role is clear.

Hopefully, he has been keeping fit.

When Tshabalala came on for short cameos with AmaZulu last season, it was evident he could hardly play. He had not played for 18 months before that.

Generally footballers (especially attackers) start to go downhill from 32. There are exceptions like Messia and CR7 but they are few and far between.

Keepers and defenders can go on because pace and precision is not as vital for them though they have to be astute readers of the game.

Man this extra time period has been k@k. These two aren’t up for it. Can’t wait to switch over to the City and Spurs game.

Mwene should have been pulled back for all of his saves lol.. all of them he was way off his line..

Yeah, looks like the referee on the line wanted this over so he can go home.

Good game though, at least Chiefs put up a fight, it's encouraging.
Maybe it was the ref trying to do right for that one which Khune saved but ended up crossing the line.
