Cool, good to know. Didn't know this was the issue at the time though. Will remember for future.

Yup, if you have seperate accounts, you'll need to enable it for all of them, but I think Vodacom give you the option to link all your accounts.

Ordered the Ballistic Gel case for the G2 along with a Steinheil screen guard, crystal version. Might be complete overkill with the screen being cornered gorilla glass...but whatever :)

I like my phones to be in perfect nick for when I sell em on hehe.

Yeah, was a bit reluctant to part with my S2, but its starting to show its age.

So i decided the time is right, and I didn't want to wait for the S5, because I know half of the country will get one.

Ha! I too moved from an S2! Quite the jump, eh? ;-)

You will enjoy the battery live as well, I also had a S2. Best I have had on a smartphone yet and as Raithlin said the screen is great.

Guys, you are all making me curse Cell C, because the new SIM is not active yet.

My poor phone has gone in for repairs. Screen died last night...well kinda died. It looks like white stripes 1mm wide from top to bottom which increase as screen on time increases. A month old and has never been dropped. :(

So one question to the LG G2 owners. How long before the the knock-on screen unlock starts wearing off? LOL I think its just such a cool feature, and I see its rumored for the new Sony Z2 device as well.

Regards,
Note 3 owner.

I am loving the feature. I find that I am still trying to get use to the back button setup. So it works well for me, especially works when phone is on the table and I quickly want to check a message.

And any ex samsung owners in here? How does it compare?

A few of us actually. I'm a S2 owner myself. Still in good hands, too.

How does it compare? It doesn't. Faster, bigger, brighter, longer... Pick an adjective.

Mine is but I still experience those issues :( - problem in my case is not LTE - it works fine - it's when it has to switch signals that it does and doesn't come back which is what VC told me was a known problem

And that's a killer for me.

Bummer - was looking forward to upgrading to this

Btw, Vodacom January phone deals are really really boring
