Sell BBT and keep Tevez. Don't know how BBT is still at United. Laziest player I've ever seen. When he has just one piece of hair out of his alice band, then I'll give him a polite clap.
 
I actually though Ando was brilliant and @ 20 he is going to be awesome. Scholes has been k@k of late, think we should use him very sparingly.One goal at the Emirates means the Gooners have to score three times to go through so lets take what we have and make it count in the next leg

eh? he was mediocre... couldn't shoot, couldn't cross, couldn't keep the ball, could tackle tho :P

Scholes vision and passess are too valuable but ya he hasn't been doing great after his red card...


As for BBT, he's still way too casual but hey could you believe how he was defending last nite tho? he was actaully tackling at the goalline! :D

All very true. Anderson is awful. He has the same industry as Tevez and Park yet he is so much worse than them that you cannot forgive him his crapness due to his battling or commitment or whatever. Two corners straight out of play. Simply unacceptable.
 
Cristiano Ronaldo claims poor refereeing decisions denied Manchester United the chance to take more than a slender 1-0 lead to Arsenal in next week's Champions League showdown.

Ronaldo claimed Danish referee Claus Bo Larsen "did not have best night" and two crucial offside calls denied United goals.

TV replays showed Brazilian midfielder Anderson was onside when he was flagged, while Ryan Giggs, who went on to score, was a borderline decision.

Ronaldo said: "Two offsides are not offside and a few fouls he didn't give. It was not his best game.

"The first one Anderson was not offside and, with Giggsy, I'm not sure either. They are not great decisions but you have to respect the referees even if they were not brilliant - and just hope they will be better at Arsenal."

Ronaldo insisted United deserve to be the bookies' favourites to hold on to their European crown and believes they will triumph in next week's semi-final, second leg at the Emirates.

"We should be the favourites, we are the holders of the Champions League and we are full of confidence," said the Portuguese winger.

"It's going to be more difficult now Arsenal are at home but it's no problem to us as we are very experienced.

"We created so many chances that I believe we will score again at Arsenal next week.

"It was [Manuel] Almunia's night and he stopped a few goals and, when the goalkeeper is the best player on the pitch, it shows how difficult it is for other teams to play against us."

Ronaldo also paid tribute to Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year Giggs, who came on as a second-half substitute to make his 800th appearance for United.

"He has had a fantastic season and 800 matches is an unbelievable achievement," added Ronaldo. "I hope to be like him one day. He is a fantastic player."

Meanwhile, Carlos Tevez, whose future at Old Trafford looks doubtful with his complicated loan deal due to expire at the end of the season, expressed his pleasure at his reception from the Old Trafford crowd last night.

Fans sang "Argentina, Argentina" and "Fergie, sign him up", and Tevez said: "It was great to hear the fans chanting my name. The crowd here are great to me and it means a lot.

"It is very important to get the 1-0 win but next week the game will be very difficult. It was very good for me to be in the starting line-up.

"We played well and wanted to score another goal but we must be happy with the way we played."

Quite a few questionable offside decisions of late - of course completely ignored by everyone else...

Clearly the fans want Tevez to stay but I'm not convinced...

I would not go so far as to say he was clearly onside,looked very close to me and in those situations the advantage goes to the defending team.
If it was a goal it would have made the game a hellva lot more interesting,would have forced arsenal to throw men forward and perhaps they would have grabbed an away goal and united would likely have snatched a 3rd.(all hypothetically speaking ofcourse)

The advantage is supposed to go to the attacking team to encourage teams to be, er, more attacking.

This is why a while back, there had to be clear daylight between the last defender and the most advanced attacker. This is not the case any longer. I have no idea why.

I was always under the impression that it was in the defenders favour?Although I do agree that it has become too strict...

I am going with a 2-1 win...We get an early goal. Arse have to come out and attack leaving them open at the back. We score another and they pull back a consolation :)
