so the question on your mind would be... do you think Barca will be the best team in Europe if they beat Chelsea tomorrow and then United on 27 May?

Does that make La Liga the best?

- My view Barca would be the best team in Europe for 2009 campaign should they beat everyone and win the treble

As for La Liga being the best definately NOT! of the 4 teams 3 have already lost to english teams

Now what would it be Barca be if they lost the CL? best in La Liga?

Even if Barcelona dont get a positive result tomorrw, they have shown the football world that they are the team who plays the best brand of football. Gathering praise from all corners of the globe. I think it is fair to say that they are the most feared team this season.

Anybody notice how quiet smokey is? :D If there is a good result for Chelsea tomorrow, i predict this forum to explode with all his posts.

So if Barca were to beat Chelsea tomorrow and United in the final? What does it say about the EPL?

Last time i checked, Barca played in LA LIGA!

I for one agree with you completely and I have being having this disagreement with Genius for a while.

Barca might be the best in Europe but if they lose tomorrow then you can't be the best if you do not beat the best.

So what if Barca wins the C.L that does not mean at all that La Liga is the best.

Nope you wrong there, if Barca do not win tomorrow...I can see many people saying that there performences this season is down to the poor state La Liga is in.
 
Whatever dudes. This topic has been debated to death.

Fact is La Liga is more entertaining, the teams play a better brand of football. They score more goals, its overall a very EXCITING and much more TECHNICAL league. I enjoy watching that style of football MUCH MUCH more than the boring park your bus and physical English league. For me, that isnt the way the game should be played.

Barca dont even have to win tomorrow, they have been hailed the best in the world by Alex Ferguson, they have been hailed as UNREAL by Guus Hiddink. Alex Ferguson has stated that their is only one team he fears, and that is Barcelona. That is enough for me. So you can go on your merry way thinking La Liga is poor. Ferguson and Hiddink doesnt seem to think so. ;)

You people are quick to forget that Barcelona are the leading goal scorers in in the Champions League, unless you are saying that the CL is also poor?

Why didnt the English teams bang home convincing wins and score buckets of goals? Why are the legends of the game, the Cruyffs, Maradona's, Pele's, Di Stefano's, not talking about the English teams being the best in the world?

Great performance. Arsenal nowhere.

Fletcher really unlucky to be sent off - horrible decision that. And now he misses the final :(

You have to say well done to Arsenal though, they made it all the way to the CL semi's with a young team. I'm sure they'll get their respect in the near future.
 
If Pool lose tomorrow, we can win the league at Wigan. Making the Arsenal game a procession. Awesome :)

I would not do that.

You would do that for Ronaldo though ;)

Seems Ronaldo has got used to teams doing that to him since the start of the season and adjusted. I am not sure Barca know the words adjust or adapt...
 
Barca dont need to adapt or adjust. They will continue playing the way they have played.

They WONT change their style for anybody.

That was the header of the monthly newsletter before the Chelsea tie.

I am glad they play a certain way, it shows they believe in their ability and they are confident their style can overcome any team.

It worked against Chelsea.
