anyway, if you support man u/blue bulls, you are used to this "i support my team and whoever plays against man u/bulls" mentality.

So stop being a baby about it. Sheesh... you'd think with all the trophies you'd won that you would at least have some bleedin' dignity.

Coz, every winning/losing team gets stick. A lot of it. United just gets more of it because they have been winning for such a long time. If you can't take that... you watching the wrong sport mate...
 
Barca were 3 first choice players down, they would have out-classed manu on any given night.Manu were lucky it was not more goals.

On the night, yes. Last season was very very different. So it will be bext season, if we should meet up. Get over yourself. Or at least have some humility in victory. Sheesh.
 
"on the night" any given night this season this would have been the out-come.Do you think people have been saying they the greatest team in europe as a joke?If you actually watched football outside of the epl you would know this.

The barca of last year were weaker yet manu defended over 180 minutes (barca had 80% procession ).You had no choice but to try and play football this time as it was a final and manu were lucky to come off with a 2-0 loss.

There are plenty of other threads for you hatred/gloating/lack of grace. Why not leave this one to the United FANS to discuss the game and the future? No?

vd Sar - needs to be replaced. Foster /Kusczak not good enough replacements...

What of Giggs and Scholes. Surely their time is finally up.

Did you honestly think that all the countless threads and articles about Barcelona being the best in the world was a joke?

You think that people just made it up? Any day of the year, Barca would have done that to United.

United just is not good enough. They cannot match Barca. Get over yourself and accept the ass whoooooping we gave you.
 
I think not enough has been said about the easy route manu had to the final.

Liverpool/Bayern/Barca/Chelsea all in the same group.Yet manu had some nice easy games.

I dont think they would got to the final being in the other half of the final route.

Yeah - but you won't like them. First off... selling Park would be a huge mistake. You're not only competing in the ECL you know... he is a workhorse of note and pretty good for 98% of the matches United play. Selling him would be a waste of a squad player that would be superb in any team. Tonnes of stamina and decent all round player.

One thing is for damn sure... get rid of Rio. I hate him. Better a nippy back to complement Vidic when he is too slow to be at his best.

I don't want Park to go - I just want him on the bench and in the cups. Not in the 1st team for the big games. Anderson I want gone. Now.

Vidic has been worryingly slow in the latter part of the season - I hope he sorts himself out next season.

Rio I do not have feelings either way really...
 
Rio just sucks. Vidic would manage just fine if he had proper "speedy" support (like Terry does with Cole/Boswinger)... a central defender needn't be the fastest sparkplug in the engine, just toughest and backed up by a clever person. Capish?

Yes, I hear what you are saying. Rio used to do a decent job of just that. I think the problems we had last night were more than in defence. Anderson and Park could not hold anything in the midfield. Giggs should not have started. BBT should start. Always.
 
Giggs/Scholes are cool to bring in the laaities... Not to be used as real players. I mean... Maldini they are not. Anderson... meh... not everyone is a super-footballer at that age and I really think that these platers are going down the drain. I mean just imagibne if Masch was playing at the age of 19 against that Barca team... you'd probably say the same thing. The point o remember is that neither Xavi nor Iniesta are 12. They are seasoned players that have an understanding built up over years. They learnt from some of the greats (Ronaldinho, Deco etc) so comparing them to Anderson or someone is not on. It's like Mikel. The boy is 22. I mean... he needs another 2 years at least to get to his peak and then he will be epic. Chelsea didn't buy Essien as a 10 year old either... The problem with playing such young players is that you create enormous expectations about them and when they fail to deliver for a few years (because they are not capable at that specific age) then they regress and actually believe they are bad.

Not everyone is a Messi, Maradonna or Pele.
