Let us just say, I am pretty confident this season. What with almost all other teams getting weaker, City with too many stars to work properly probably, and with Valencia coming in to replace Ronaldo and Owen looking good as a replacement for Tevez, I am not sure we are weaker than last season.

honestly i cant pick a winner ,i have a sneaky suspicion that the Arses are going to surprize alot of teams

But 2nd half play shows that we need to keep playing with pace as we did in the first.

Well done to Chelsea, but the ref should really look at himself.

Also I'm curious to know why our defenders always take the early pk's??? I mean Evra before Berbatov or Rooney :/ WTF!
 
Decent game. We were good 1st half. I would NEVER start Park. Valencia would have been a much better bet from the start.

The penalties were ridiculous as well. :o
 
This season's gonna be a good one for United.

I mean everyone has been saying how we suck after Ronaldo and Tevez left yet we only lost to Chelsea (who supposedly have the best chance of winning the league) on penalties PLUS we were without Vidic and VDS. I'm sure VDS would've cleaned up the cross that lead to the Lampard goal.

I can feel 19 already.
 
So what was the game like? I was sleeping... late night work FTL :mad: Seen on goal.com that we already have the first talking point of the season. All I can say is that at least you weren't cheated out of 3 penalties in the ECL semi-final :p. Gonna watch the highlights reel on youtube, then comment further. See ya tomorrow scumboys.

Haha. Controversial it was. Mostly the ref's fault. But you guys could also have put the ball out. See my blog for more ;)

Ya, Foster does not really look like number two material. Two months is a long time, as well. Fortunately for us, the opposition in the 1st ten games in not great :)
