I predict that this is Sir Alex's last season in charge. Hopefully he makes it to the end of the season without any health problems! Time to groom a successor...?

//ditto for Rafa!!! Except his health will be OK!

David Moyes was keen. Sounds good. Mourinho can bail.

...My flatmate just emailed me to ask what my plans were for the weekend. I thought I'd break it down for him:

My plans are...

Saturday
12:30pm - watch football (live match, Sky Sports 1)
3pm - watch football (live match, internet)
5:15pm - watch football (live match, ESPN)
11pm (ish) - watch football (highlights, Match of the Day, BBC1)

Sunday
1:30pm - watch football (live match, Sky Sports 1)
4pm - watch football (live match, Sky Sports 1)
10pm (ish) - watch football (highlights, Match of the Day 2, BBC2)

Roughly calculated...that's 15.6 hours of football (based on 90 minutes per match plus 15 for half-time) out of a possible 32 waking hours over the weekend (based on an 8 hour sleep each night). Which as you can see, is almost FIFTY PERCENT OF MY WEEKEND.

It will obviously be a lot more time when you take into account the build up and post-match analysis. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's about to overdose on football, but will anyone be watching more than this?

We in sunny SA are even luckier!! For example let's just look at this weekend and EPL only:
Saturday (live) - Chelsea vs Hull, Blackburn vs Man City, Bolton vs Sunderland, Everton vs Arsenal, Portsmouth vs Fulham
Saturday (delayed) - Aston Villa vs Wigan, Stoke vs Burnley, Wolves vs West Ham
Sunday (live) - Man U vs Birmingham, Spurs vs Liverpool.

Then we start with Spanish La Liga, Italian Seria A, Portuguese PL and Brazilian PL...

We are really spoilt for choice.

//So yes, Joel Bradley from London, we Saffers can watch more than that!!

1-0 to the champions :) Yet again.

BBT needs to pick up the pace. We should have won this one by four or five.

Lot of defenders out....

Foster looked better :)

True.

I love Berbatov on the ball, but he seems to slow the game down too much at the moment, same thing last week.

Quite happy with today's performance, though there were some "scares" from Birmingham, but nothing too hectic.

Good game at the end of the day that certainly could've seen more goals.
Owen came close to scoring on debut :)

Yeah, I love BBT but he cannot continue to slow the entire game down to walking pass all the time - he does not need to. He is actually quick if he can be bothered to run.

Burnley should be interesting on Wed. Should put two past them. And a clean sheet :)

At least we are not Liverpool...

BBT is useless! When he played for Spurs he was on form.
The minute he joined us he was useless then and now.
Look at Robbie Kean, when he also played for Spurs, he played well.
And then moved to Liverpool, and was completely useless. Now his back
at Spurs and playing well again. He missed a few chanches over the week
end but plays better now when he was at Liverpool.
BBT does not fight for the ball as Rooney does.
