Ya, I don't know. I don't feel that confidence like when I see VDS in the starting line up... It's like every 2nd game he plays like k@k and then the next match he has a great game. Like at Tottenham last week. Thought Foster had a decent game then.

Way too inconsistent.

What a game.

Foster and Ferdinand should hang their heads, though.

But still. Too epic a game to hate them too much right now.

Giggs - what a hero! And Fletch - Wow, how he has improved!

Indeed. I hope Foster is sitting at home crying as we speak. He's utterly useless. After Carrick and Park, he's my worst United player.

Heard a rumour that Sir Alex is interested in Lazio's keeper. Haven't seen him in action though.

Though Foster had a good game last weekend, today was just one of those...he has way to may of those unfortunately. At Watford he was awesome, I think the pressure of being a Man United goalkeeper is telling on him. He just needs some confidence. Hope he can find it soon.

Apparently he's also interested in akinfeev who is awesome. Foster clearly isn't going to cut it. As soon as VDS is back, we'll be conceding way less goals.

So is Bayern apparently. I'm all for that if it happens, damn, he's been playing for ages and is only like 24 or something.

I've always been a fan of Mandanda. Would be great to have an African representative in United colours again.

It was a great game!!!

The issue regarding injury time added on.
Why don't they do the same as in Rugby? When play stops completely
(injuries, subs & goal celebration), the 4th or 5th official stops the watch! When the 90min are over, a siren goes of and the ref blows his whistle.
But there is one big problem with this!!! If a team are on the attack and the siren goes off, how long does the ref allow the play to continue???
Or will it spoil the game?

if they had stoppage time in rugby the Sharks would have won the currie cup against province in 2001

Ando sucked in the first half... no creativity, hang back which gave City ample space to run into, kept passing the ball backwards to defenders/keeper.... second half he stepped up tho.

Yeah - Him and Fletch in the midfield looks like a solid partnership. He still cannot cross or shoot, though. That is why we should start Valencia and Giggs on the wings. Park is rubbish.

I agree, Park is utter rubbish though. Valencia,Giggs and maybe even Anderson would do lots better

And that says a lot of Park's inability to play. Confuses me why he still plays? I understand he has boundless energy when he is on the park(no pun). But that doesn't help if he has no talent :(

I agree. I do not know why he ever starts. He can come off the bench and play in the cup games. He gets into good positions and then wastes them. He is the last player I want in the box, cept maybe Ando

Would things maybe be a abit easier if the 4-3-3 formation was being played? And play Owen deep like in an attacking midfielder position like that Fabregacs(throws up for mentioning that)

I am not a fan of 4-3-3 especially against the better sides. 4-4-2 all the way for me. With proper wingers. Evra bombarding down the left. Glory.
