Actually if you look at it, Vidic only clipped Hazard - Hazard didn't even make much of a fuss - knowing full well at most it's a yellow card... How's Luiz's comment when he saw the red card... coming from the dirtiest player on the pitch...

We certainly weren't played off the park. We had some good spells of possessions and created a few opportunities, just didn't have anyone (Rooney and RvP) to bury them.

We did play well in the first 20min, but as we have seen this season - our defense is full of holes, so if we dont put those chances away, we are likely to be behind not long after

Unnecessary knee jerk reaction, we will get 3-4 players and reaccess from there.
 
I sincerely wish some Middle Eastern bastard with too much money to spend, buys United and buys a ****load of world class players. But his first action should be to fire that useless sack of s**t in charge there now.

Not knee-jerk.

Anderson, Evra, Ferdinand, Cleverley, Young are expendable players. None of them are at the level United need to challenge the likes of City and Chelsea. Anderson has never been effective, Young hasn't been good for a few seasons now, Ferdinand & Evra are past their sell-by dates and Cleverley looks like another Anderson, someone that is going to stick around and contribute bugger all.

Buttner & Fabio are not the caliber of player United needs to compete at City's level. That's League Cup talent. Vidic can no longer feature week in, week out and is prone to mistakes far too often these days. Giggs is 40 and don't say him playing well is a positive. That is a serious indictment on the state of our midfield if a 40-year old winger is one of our better midfielders. In fact, it is really sad that a defender (Jones) and an ancient winger have been two of our better midfield players this season.

This team is old and average. It is a big squad short on quality. It needs a clear out and it needs an influx of classy young talent at key positions.

Anderson has already gone, Giggs, Ferdinand and one of Fabio/Evra/Buttner . So we get a cm,wide player, lb and cb. Thats 4 players as i previously said and not half the squad.

I don't consider any of those 3 LBs at anywhere near the level you'd need to match the talent the teams above United have. I would send them all packing and bring in two new LBs. One that is already at a high level and a younger one you can develop.

They need more than one new CM. They likely need two, both of whom should be starting caliber seeing as Carrick & Fletcher (when you ignore Anderson, the useless Cleverley & aging Giggs) are the only truly recognised CMs. Jones is punted between CM & CB, so who knows what he is. Also, Fletcher is 30 next month and Carrick will be 33 when the next season kicks off, where is the future of the midfield? Jones and? One new CM isn't enough.

I can also see two new CBs being viable because as stated, Vidic has not been reliable. Evans, Jones, and two new ones. Vidic probably stays, but he's not what he used to be.

Then we have the players Moyes obviously doesn't really rate/trust; Kagawa and Nani. I see Moyes adding at least one wide player to complement Valencia & Zanuzaj making one - or both - of Kagawa and Nani expendable.

And then the strike force. When RvP and Rooney are out who's next man up? Welbeck has looked sharp recently but no history of being a dependable striker. Chicarito is too limited a player. United could justify adding a new striker as well.

Question is - does Moyes have the balls to demand what he wants or will he just accept whatever like he did this summer (he knew nothing of the transfers besides Fabregas, and even then we f**cked it up)

Would Mou have taken this crap had he be given the job? I dont think Fellaini would have been his only signing or even one of his signing? R27 mil pounds would have yielded a different target and Mou has the pull to attract players

I dont see that happening, besides Evra would be a good back up option. The problem at the moment is that he plays too many games and when you get older it becomes difficult to keep a high level of performance when you're playing twice a week. Its crazy how many games hes played for United over the last +-7 years, i can see hes starting to get some little injuries as well.

You're also forgetting about Fellaini, if Moyes deserves time then so does he. Again United will probably get one CM and go from there.

You're putting yourself up for the inevitable disappointment if you think we are going to be getting this many new players. Buying new players doesn't guarantee you success and you could end up getting players that are worse than the ones we currently have. Rebuilding the team wont be done all in one transfer period, it will be rebuilt over the next 2/3 seasons.
