Hes played two full matches(?) and created 30 chances. 2 assists.

Where do you get this from or are you just guessing/making it up?

Has he done enough this year to warrant a 37million pound fee ?

I will answer that.

Im no scout but im guessing you dont rate a player over one season only? Especially when he hasnt been played through no real fault of his own. Costs two million more than Carrol, seems like a bargain if you ask me :)

Manchester United fan calls 999 asking for Alex Ferguson

A drunk Manchester United fan called 999 "demanding" to speak to Sir Alex Ferguson after the club's defeat.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called at 22:30 GMT by a man from Crumpsall after the team lost to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup.

GMP said it "can be sad and depressing" when a football team loses a game but asked the public to "remember that 999 is to be used for emergencies only".

The force suggested contacting the club to speak to the former manager.

Manchester United lost 2-1 on penalties to Sunderland at Old Trafford in the semi-final of the cup under new manager David Moyes.

On GMP North Manchester's Facebook page, the force said: "A man from the Crumpsall area of North Manchester rang 999 in a drunken state demanding to speak to Sir Alex Ferguson about last night's result.

"Obviously, it can be a sad and depressing moment when you're football team loses a game, however, can we all please remember that 999 is to be used for emergencies only.

"For any other police-related enquiries that are not an emergency, you can ring 101."

"If you would like to speak to Sir Alex about recent football results we here at GMP Manchester North can only suggest you try ringing Manchester United FC directly as you will probably (not definitely) have a much better chance of getting through to him there rather than ringing the police," the statement added.

NO.

It's all relative though, isn't it? Was Torres worth 50m when Chelsea bought him? No. Was Carroll worth 35m? No.

It's relative to how much Chelsea don't need him, and we do. If he was sold last year July-September, the fee would have been a lot more. It's a steep fee, but only going by how much we're used to seeing spent on quality players.

Are those numbers, if he's keeps those numbers there or there about, worth 37m? I'd say so.

Or both. Vidal is saying he's heard nothing from United though.

Vidal just signed a new contract extension keeping him at Juve till 2017 - Juve will be dumb to sell Vidal - Likelihood of us getting him is impossible. Marchisio on the other hand not getting enough game time will affect his chances of making the World Cup - he may be enticed to move

Nah, I don't think we'll actually get him, but it's nice to dream :) His contract extension was just for one year though, and I don't his wages aren anything special, so who knows. I mean fck, we seem to have bought Mata. Anything could happen.

While I agree with Marchisio not getting game time, I don't think that Italy will drop him for the World Cup- they don't really have much...

Wait hang one let me get this right: Chelsea has played 33 matches (36 matches with the champions cup) Mata's stats: minutes played: 834, 11 matches started

33*90 = 2970
Mata has contributed 28% of Chelsea's 2013/14 campaign
