Did you just say, negative comments in the press has no bearing on a players form?

Typical of Man United supporters. Ridicule a player when he is down. When a player like Marcheda scored one goal to save the match, then he is the next best thing since sliced bread.

Funny supporters they are.

The way you go about things seems like you label all United fans as hypocrites...

Why don't you go label english fans Hooligans? What about Inter Fans as Racists? etc?

Oh wait even better why not go ahead and say Nani is still k@k and will always be k@k;

I would really like to have seen your comments about Figo when he left to go to Real Madrid

Problem with United supporters, is that there are so many fake supporters among you guys that it is hard to spot the true supporters.

It happens with all big clubs. In SA, United and Pool are the biggest clubs - so of course there are going to be alot of fake supporters.

By the way, Figo is a pig.

He's talking about Glory Hunters.

After the treble win in 1999, the amount of supporters that come out of the closet were mind boggling. After the CL win the 2005, I could of swore that there were three times as many Liverpool supporters all of a sudden. Go figure.

Van der Sar eyes Bolton return

Edwin van der Sar has confidently declared that he will be ready to face Bolton at Old Trafford after the international break.

The Dutchman played his first 90 minutes of the season when he returned from a broken hand to play for Manchester United's reserves against Everton on Tuesday evening.

The 39-year-old had little to do against the young Toffees but was pleased to have come through the match unscathed.

Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be boosted by the news having reportedly become frustrated with understudy Ben Foster's recent costly mistakes.

"I will be ready for Bolton," Van der Sar told MUTV.

"I feel good and I haven't had any reaction. The match is still 10 days away so I have more training to do, then I will be ready for my first start of the season."

Van der Sar revealed that he could have carried on training but felt the game with Everton provided him with the perfect chance to test his troublesome hand.

"Of course I could train but there are a lot of lads away on international duty so there are not many players around," he added.

"I just felt this was the ideal opportunity to get some action in a real game."

ye but there's a fine line between fake supporters and casual supporters... I'm a United supporter but I also support Juventus, yet given the fact I don't have DSTV to watch all the matches I try catch glimps of the games via highlights, scores/results etc...

So does that make me fake supporter?

+1 here mate.

No DSTV so the only time I watch a match is if I happen to be at a friend's house who has DSTV and the match is on.

However I always follow the game on ESPN soccernet and always youtube the highlights afterwards.

no DSTV = fake supporter :D

kidding, lol, you support the team by following their progress, whether it be from articles on the internet or watching games on TV. These other morons just hear it over the radio, "United score 5" and next thing you know that AIG toilet paper is out and they flashing it about & talk random crap about Rooney, etc...

Rooney revels in new role under Capello

England striker Wayne Rooney feels Fabio Capello has found the "perfect" role for him in the England team.

Rooney went through a barren run under Steve McClaren, but now the Manchester United striker is the top scorer in European qualifying for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa with nine goals.

The striker now has 25 international goals despite being aged only 23. Barring injury it seems inevitable he will surpass Sir Bobby Charlton's all-time record of 49 England goals.

SAF take note?
