SAF didn't win anything when he first started at Man Utd.

football is not the same anymore . success is defined by trophies and money plays a huge role. Moyes will not be given so much time ... neither the owners nor supporters are that patient.

Not really sure why Fergie approved of Moyes ..... a manager who is trophyless in the Premiership. Moyes just doesn't know what it's like to win a trophy.

Being midtable is not an option. Success is demanded.
 
Michael Carrick... few know what he does but many concur that he's the best at it :erm:

Well I guess it's that simple then. You guys have dominated English football for the last 20-25 years I don't think you realise quite how fortunate you have been to be a part of it. Spoiled actually.

And only stayed on as manager because Bobby Charlton begged the board not to fire him. Worked out nicely after that I guess.

But yes, I'm sure Utd will do really well again eventually. They'll win promotion next season from the Championship, and will surely go from strength to strength, and who knows, maybe even qualify for the CL again!

Seriously though: get your **** together. Everyone misses hating Utd. :(

He still has the support of the Stretford End. They stayed behind after the Newcastle game and sang his name as he left the field. The glory fans are jumping ship, just pay attention to their official fan page, but the hardcore fans understand it was never going to be easy and that Fergie had the team punching above its weight.

I highly doubt they make the Champions League though. The Europa League is a more likely destination.
