Fergie ****ing with the line up again. Went out to play for a draw and it back fired. How can you leave Valencia on the bench. HOW???

We deserved the result. Played rubbish.

Yeah, I'm more disappointed in our attitude than the result.

Well played to City, they deserved to score more.
 
Was a stupid tactic to pack the midfield (hence our lack of shots on goal). It NEVER seems to work for us. Especially when playing Park. I think thats now 8 loses out 10 when Park has played and we've "packed" the midfield. Its no use realizing that you should've played with two up front 60 minutes into the game. I think Fergie made some bad decisions.
 
Fergie has been in the game long enough to know that a 4 4 2 would have probably meant UTD getting skinned.

An open expansive game will have been entertaining for the fans ,but City will have outscored UTD.

Fergie approached the match like a Euro away tie... He wanted a goal and a largely defensive performance.




Citeh can't quite celebrate yet, Newcastle + QPR won't be easy...

Utd could still drop points against the Black Cats too...

Makes for an interesting last few games....
 
There goes the title. Damn disappointing game, looked like a bunch of amateurs.
 
Park was absolutely outplayed and caused major hassles on the right for us. City deserved to win it...

Dont get me wrong, I want United to win the league BADLY, but I dont see Newcastle holding off a city that are DESPERATE to win the league :p
 
8 pts diff and we throw the title away good going :)

Now we need what? a 10-0 thrashing of Swansea then a 5-0 win against sunderland? bye bye title 20

Either way we shouldn't be relying on Toon. We were 8 points clear with 6 games to go. We failed terribly, especially as this is "squeaky bum time" :/

Yes. This is true. City are rubbish as well. Better players in almost every position and yet as a team they are still crap. On paper, they should have wrapped up this league ages ago, even without Tevez.

And had a better goal difference than City.

I'm more upset now that if we don't win the League, we've got nothing to show for this season. I could have accepted not winning anything or doing not as well, if we had at least used the season to blood new players. Remember the team that beat Arsenal 8-2? Average age was something silly like 23. Against City we played Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Ferdinand, Evra. All on the wrong side of 30. I'm not saying they're k/\k or anything like that, just that they're not the future of United. At least if City had run free and clear to the title by February, SAF would've been more relaxed to play Cleverly, Pogba, Keane etc etc more regularly, to see if they're proper United material.
