Official Modern Warfare 2 Discussion Thread

Jeez, played some Mosh Pit last night to get used to the whole "shoot a clip on someone before they die" thing, and got pwnd. At least one or two of our teamies got good kills... :( Will have to play waaaayyyyy more...
 
Yeah, and was it my imagination or is camping worse on SC?

I think we will have to play this much more regularly...
 
A couple of maps was all about camping, much more so than in HC! I had one good game last night, but I think it was in hardcore :) I forgot how one of the game types even worked, thats how long ago I played it last.... Kinda ran into it then had to think a bit what the strategy was!!
 
With TDM there will always campers....but if you playing a objective based game like demolition for example, you can easily change the pace of the game and force the campers out! If you have a team that's willing to co-operator get them to change to a class with Marathon + Lightweight and if everyone runs and guns, they wont be able to camp much....
 
Not so easy to run and gun if you cant kill anything!!! :( I got something like 10 assists last night cause I managed to only injure my opponents!! WTF???

Ja it does, but I am trying to play with Perks that does not influence the way I play because in the tourney we play in, perks are disabled :(...

But maybe just until I am used to this crap I should put it on?
 
@ Joe - all perks are disabled? I can understand some but all, eish.
 
Yeah Mephisto, ALL disabled! So, no marathon - no stopping power, no ninja nothing! It is sad, really... :)
 
Yoh, I'd be lost without Marathon ...... others I could let go if I had to but not that. That be some hardcore league you play in bro.
 
Use any perks bud although try avoiding Ninja Pro though, because when you use it you tend to run instead taking it slow. You become used to it and you cant just run around in clan games....Just my opinion.
 
Maybe the more 'noob' players yeah but I use it and still know how to play clan tactically for whichever maps call for it. Sneaky stabbings ftw!
 
I also use it. My favorite perk Infact :D but I stopped using it Search and Destroy or it will be to easy :p


Mephisto - What time you guys jam Modern Warfare 2 on RIG? I was on but nobody was on the server. I think I was on too early...
 
Hmm, we were full up on Stimulus between 9 and 11 last night ..... problem is that we have some of the MW2 guys playing Killing Floor coz it's new and they only come to the MW2 later :D There are some days when we jam at like 6pm though, just depends on the general mood I guess ..... and if we can sweet talk the COD4 addicts into joining of course, lol :D
