SO when is the REAL version coming out for the N8?

So I got my N8 yesterday and I'm very happy with it so far......
The OVI mapset and voice guidance is working brilliantly, although I did consider loading Garmin mobile XT!
The only problem I have is the results when searching for an address. Example: let's take the famous old church street. I want the one in Claremont
I type in "church str" and when the results come up, I do't know which one to choose 'cause all of them seem to have "Cape Town" at the end. Is there a setting where more detail of the address can be shown?

Yeah I have that problem too - I just check each one out and zoom out on the map to see which area it is in...
The list is sorted from closes to furthest from where you are so if you know the area well you can sometimes guess it...

Was having quite a bad experience with my E7 on the software side with daily restarts (upto 15 times a day that i took note of) Finally took it to Nokia Care and got a replacement within a week. What a difference the new handset makes to my feelings towards nokia. Everything works 100% (as expected) and I'm anxiously waiting for Anna update.
Tip If your having issues with your S^3 device: take it to Nokia Care, they'll do a free software update, and if the problem persists will get a replacement.

i agree taking the phone directly to nokia is a must, most of the complaints that nokia get with regard to repairs stem from the SP stores not taking note of the problems corectly

just need some advice on choosing a phone for watching dstv. looking at getting me the E7/N8 or the cheap Nokia 5800.
will very much basically mostly use it for watching dstv. which of the 3 are the best in terms of the following:

biggest screen
best screen
features
is it able to connect to a pc

reason i am asking is that i don't won't to spend too much

E7 an N8 would be the same on all you questions (Screen and feature wise) (prce wise the n8 should be cheaper), the 5800 is the cheapest (and not the best screen to be honest and horrible to use comparitivley) and all can conect to PC
With regard to conecting to dstv do you have the Nokia dvb-h tuner (AFAIK its not yet available in RSA) thats compatible with n8 or E7,
If you planing on using the destv drifter its not yet compatible with nokia


Edit acording to the nokia website the dvb tuher is compatible with n8 and the 5800, E7 is not on the list Odd :wtf:

There are 3 mobile TV channels available:

•SuperSport Blitz
•euronews
•SawSee
Dstv mobile for n8 of course your data charges will be insane!

Cause Belle does seem awesome, want to try.. but don't want to F-up my phone at the same time..

I wouldn't jump onto the Belle train just yet. It's still early beta. Will wait a couple of days to get feedback from other users
