I am sure I predicted United for relagation. Who posted the table upside down.
Looks like there's only a thread for last season's predictions :/
However it was quite a lol to see a few people predicting Chelsea to win the EPl when they ended up in 6th actually.
...though. Another fun fact: Spurs have never won a game wher Bale has played LB. So the article isn't far wrong. He is just a much better attacker than defender.
What do you guys think of big clubs purchasing young players then immediately loaning them back or too other clubs?
IMO they shouldn't be able to loan a new signing for two years. Think that would drive up prices and keep quality players at smaller clubs for longer as big clubs would have to buy a player closer to the finished product
Then again it risks players disappearing into the reserves if they are purchased early

I've got no problems with it.
I actually like it in a way. I.e. Utd wants to buy Zaha, they buy him and loan him back to Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace wins because they essentially still have their player for a while + lots of cash. Utd win by getting their man, and their player gets loads of 1st team experience and don't have to pay his wages.
but conceivably they get to hold onto their player longer and get more for him down the line.
Which is fine. Helps level the playing field
See what you mean thereWhich is fine. Helps level the playing field
Hmm wires they be crossed. Its better for the smaller clubs, which in turn makes for a more competitive league.
