On another note, Benitez seems to rub people the wrong way. He come to madrid and the first thign he does is piss off ronalbo, saying he dont think he is the best player in the world. Stevie G also wrote in his auto biography that Benitez was (im paraphrasing here) "cold" and indifferent. Also, Benitez like to play the blame game, ala that famous rant at liverpool. And then there is the fans. Madrid fans are amongst the most fickly in the world we know and they simply didnt like the man, benitez.

I just wish Real Madrid went with Klopp.

4 Madrid players in the FIFPro World XI, well done guys!

Congrats to Messi, he had an incredible year. If I'm being honest I think Neymar probably deserved it more. But 5 Ballon d'Ors is ridiculous!

I don't know whether Neymar deserved it more than Messi, but he had a very strong claim. I expected him to be at least ahead of Ronaldo in the voting and not third. Hopefully (for Madrid) losing again to Messi will make Neymar more selfish, destabilizing the team.

Neymar deserved more why? He didn't guide Brazil to to the WC Finals... feint injury when he knew Brazil wasn't getting anywhere at the WC, with Messi and Ronaldo around he won't get the recognition

Its about time Modric got some recognition.

As much as I hate Suarez (and its a lot), he's a great player and really should be part of the World XI. The thing is he's not gonna get in ahead of Messi or Ronaldo, and I thought Neymar has been better than him in 2015 (however marginally).

Lol, one can hope. I'd rather see Madrid (CR7) become less selfish though. Its better for football as a whole.

Barca was still a force to be reckoned with when Messi was injured. Neymar and Suarez were tearing teams apart.

However, when Messi was back in and Neymar was out injured Barca lacked that domination. They found it difficult to penetrate teams, hence the draws and dropped points.

They struggled without Neymar, while they barely missed Messi.

Just remember we're talking about the 2015 year, so not including the WC. Also (and this might be a bit harsh) Messi flopped again at the Copa America. Argentina have one of the best sides in the world (on paper) yet Messi can't lead them to glory.

Neymar was just as instrumental in the trebel as Messi (and Suarez), so its really hard to choose between them.

It may just be that Messi plus Suarez don't link as well as Neymar plus Suarez. I think Neymar has shown maturity in Barca front as the lead man and supporting

2015 excluded the 2014 WC. You said something about Neymar not leading Brazil in the WC so he didn't deserve the BdO, hence why I said that.

Ronaldo won last year (2014) coz of La Decima (UCL), Copa Del Rey, highest goal scorer in Europe/La Liga/UCL and a few other records being broken.

Plus Messi won sweet f all with Barca. Neuer didn't deserve it in my book, yeah he won the WC, but we humiliated them in the UCL semi final. I don't even count the BL as an achievement, its a 1 horse race.
 
Can we buy from you guys though...

Keep DDG and get Bale or Ronaldo...:D:D
