Yeah, Fifa/Uefa is them Spanishes ( ) bitch

Nah, Barca is UEFA's team, not us.

Good game tonight. Glad I sacrificed a full sleep before my 1st day as a working member of society for it.

James is such class. Perfect hat trick from CR7.

Still though, the gap between us and Barca is almost impossible to close.

So much positive play but no goals yet. Need to pull atleast one away goal with us.

Edit: well I didn't jinx it. Great CR7 goal.

Had to PVR the game yesterday, watched it a bit earlier.

Roma put up a good fight, but we deserved the win.

I'm sure the 2-0 will be enough to progress, but I'd like to see a few goals at the Bernabeu.

a good fight? Roma had 30% possession in the first half and 49% in the second half... total of 39% possession.... RM was wasteful in shooting from anywhere and everywhere...

Are you judging the entire match on possession stats?

I see Van Gaal is rubbing off on you...

No United has always been about possession with purpose - read SAF's autobiography - the matches where we couldn't control were the ones which we smash and grab (Barca vs United Paul Scholes goal)

the whole match I watched RM pot shot the Roma goals... Roma had one good penalty shout which was not given other than that they were pretty quiet with the exception of Salah - ever time he go the ball something could have happened but his touch was woeful and he spurned them all... Don't forget Ronaldo could have had a penalty as well with that high boot to his face

And hopefully Ronaldo as well.....

Straight to us :D

At his age ??

he probably has left, just a single season at the top-of-his-game.

....and he complains when he is surrounded by crappy players..... he might just fit in perfect with the current crop at OT :D

At 32, he is probably one of the fittest players out there nearing 30 or over 30. I would say he still has maybe 2-3 good seasons in him

I doubt that...

If Mata with his pace is still doing a job..Ronaldo will definitely be ok

I doubt Ronaldo would want his game played at anything less than 100miles an hour ?

He has the talent and skillset, i just don't see him being transformed into a middle-of-the-park 'option'... something that he is alien too.....

I'm a Barca fan but congrats Madrid, we looked flat as if we didn't need the win. Neymar a big dissapointment together with his attacking mates. Madrid were hungrier, more dangerous and exciting going forward. Well deserved victory.

Not taking anything away from Madrid,it seemed like Barcelona was conserving energy for their Champions League game against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. It's understandable since they are still 6 points ahead.
