Here are some tips:
- If you have your TV hooked up to a HTPC force the output on the PC to 24Hz. Samsung doesn't mention that the TV supports 24Hz; 24Hz also isn't automatically recognised as a supported mode; nonetheless, the TV does support it. Simply force 24Hz via your PC's control panel. The result: no judder at all when playing 24fps movies

- The TV has CAL-DAY and CAL-NIGHT modes which can be enabled via the service menu. These features are officially only supported on high end models but they can also be enabled on the D550! Go into the service menu and do the following:
Use the down arrow to select "Expert" and then turn "N/D ADJ" from "OFF" to "ON." You can either set "Source" to "Current" or "All" depending on whether you want separate settings per input or to share the same settings across all inputs. Setting "N/D ADJ" to "FIX" will lock the settings if you wish to protect your settings against accidental changes. This option can reset Custom Color Space settings or 10-point white balance settings, but since this set has neither of those it doesn't matter.
- For HD movies from your HTPC set the input as Bluray for best possible picture. For games from your PC set the input as DVIPC and enable game mode
- Settings for Xbox 360
-HDMI 1 is named PC
-Home Theatre PC "ON" (and NOT greyed out anymore)
-Xbox 360 reference levels Expanded
-some options get greyed out when correctly activated (sharpness, etc.)
Picture mode: Standard
Contrast: 90
Brightness: 44
Sharpness: greyed out
Color: greyed out
Tint: 50/50 (may be greyed out)
Backlight: +-6
HDMI Black Level: greyed out (normal)
Black Adjust: off
Dynamic Contrast: low or medium
Gamma: 0
Home Theatre PC mode: On (this tells the TV to look for true RGB)
White levels: default
color levels: default
- I will post the best settings for PS3 soon
