Official Super Rugby 2014 Thread

Deysel has never struck me as a dirty player at all. I think in the moment he simply lashed out without even contemplating thinking about it. Perhaps lashed is the wrong word - he simply did what any forward would do to get free and defend.

But action needs to be taken against players for off the ball incidents such as this one that prompted Deysel's stomp. The initial infringing player also needs to be held accountable for dirty and foul play that results in an opponent lashing out at him...

He was released, then gave the blatant stomp (a prior stomp was given to get loose), the movement was also a bind with two Crusader players moving into Deysel, the Crusader on the right did not even know the ball was released and it is him who put the momentum into Deysel. This is up to the reviewing committee.

3 week ban?

3 week ban?

This is going to be interesting, however the SANZAR Judicial Hearing have given him a previous two weeks ban, and they love taking history in account. We should only be proud that the Sharks won, yes discipline, discipline...

In which case the beer is in them.

Beer is in me too. Actually, there is a small chance I won't make it - a certain SP may have contracted me by then in which case attendance may be in jeopardy. But I think they understand the importance of my attendance, especially as a contractor. And they would insist I bankrupt the competition by drinking their funds :D

???

He is talking about infringements, not SuperBru. But if he was, my pick is FOR:

Oops, see my mistake, due to many "not picked yet" entries which threw my eyes. I know, but you surely debated infringements between a Stormer, a Bull and Shark supporter, there is only one losing SA side in this debate.
