Was he using his arms in the "tackle"? NO.

What was the purpose of him sliding in with his legs first? To dislodge the ball.

Is that legal? NO.

Did it prevent the obvious scoring of a try? YES.

more ref and tmo blunders ....... only way the Reds are this far in front
 
Hell but this ref has made some poor calls already...























Sharks/Lions getting my blame the ref comment in before Mephisto... :p
 
I'd love to know the back room decisions for bothering getting someone like Coenie when it's clear as day to everyone else just how useless he is.
 
The Lions is a better team than the Sharks, no doubt about that going with the 40 minutes. Weak links in the scrum, Andrew is struggling on lock… Andriaanse made a moerse change in the scrum there at the end, but then I have never liked Oostehuizen due to his discipline.

Joe Pietersen, yoh, not a good game… it is times like these where they needed Lambie. Willie, where is your thinking game? Du Preez brothers doing very well, again.

I can hope that Marcell has a speedy recovery.

Lions doing superbly as a unit. 40 minutes to go...

Also, positive match officiating this time around.
 
Gary Gold, lol. I'll never understand how this chump gets the coaching appointments he does.
 
Getting blatantly robbed in the scrums, even the commentators agree wrong call. No wonder Beast is so frustrated.
