Official Super Rugby 2016 Thread

Grief, that was grim...

Ref forgot there's a rule about knocks, though.

Yeah, many made by the Cheetahs, and by the Sunwolves. I guess the Australian didn’t want to allow too much advantage going towards the Sunwolves... maybe he dislikes Quirk  There were two tries which the Cheetahs made when the Sunwolves should had been advantaged.

But yah, there in the late 30th minutes Lood made a high tackle which wasn’t called, this is his second in the 2016 Super Rugby season. Will it be reviewed?

Sunwolves are what you get when you buy a place in Super rugby. And the Kings earned their spot through political manipulation. Either way Super rugby can do without both.

Having said that, the Japanese are a proud people and tonight would have hurt BIG TIME!! I feel quite sorry for them.

Bottom lines teams need to be selected on merit alone.

Congrats to Gold for another sterling result, he must be loving getting paid top dollar for doing squat.

Hey maybe Gold can use some of his millions to pay for Peyper to go to ref school. Sharks would have still lost but when the opposing team can throw squiff at the lineouts, put the ball in under the no.8 at scrum and have free reign in the rucks, with no ref input it must get frustrating for the team.

Jeez, we have some selfish rugby players in this country. Pass the damn ball!

Good Bulls performance. Motm? Jan? Trevor?

Which Jan? Serfontein or Kirsten. If Serfontein, then no (imo). Don't think he did enough (not bad mind you, just didn't stand out). Jannes Kirsten on the other hand had a great game! Definite contender.

Ja, Serfontein. Yeah. Kirsten had a huge game too. Good solid player but slow for a loosie imho.

Flippen good try by kolisi. Elton was made to look stupid.

But it's official now. The lions are my new second team.

Sorry Cheetahs.
